Description: The Itasca Runner's Club meets regularly September through May. Runners meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month @ 6:00pm in the YMCA MPR. This club puts on the Woodtick 12K each year. There is no fee. Runners of all skill levels are welcome. You do not have to be a member of the YMCA to participate.

Description: The North Superior Ski and Run Club maintains the Pincushion Mountain Trail System. The trails are located two miles north of Grand Marais and offer views of Lake Superior and Devils Track Canyon. It is free to run the trails although donations are encouraged. The club organizes the Fisherman's Picnic 5-Mile Trail Run in August.

Description: Run for Your Life is a structured training program run during the summer months. John Wagner, Eveleth-Gilbert's experienced cross-country coach designs running programs appropriate for each runner's goals. "Run for your life" is also great for you walkers as well. This program is geared towards runners ten years old and up. The program includes group runs and weight training 3 days a week and individual running the rest of the week. Group runs meet at the Big Aspen Trails. All skill levels are welcome. The cost is $25 for Mesabi YMCA members and $30 for non-members.

Description: The New Richmond Running Club is open to everyone who enjoys running. There are no fees or costs involved to be a member of the New Richmond Running Club. If you show up to run....you are a member! The club consists of all abilities from beginner to ultra marathoner. The running club also has group training runs for upcoming races from 5k to the marathon. Long runs are weekly. These vary from 6 miles to 24 miles. The courses run by the club can be from 3 miles to 12 miles in loop succession. Our newly paved trail system within the city limits of New Richmond, WI provides a safe and comfortable running experience. Description: Run for Life is a 6-month running group where members have a social network offering accountability and support. Select from two training groups depending on your personal goals. Registration is currently open, and the program begins Tuesday, January 8th, at 5:30pm.
Social Running Club and 5k Training — Coach Annie Prassas
This run group is focused on making running fun and an enjoyable mode of exercise. Progressive in nature, we will meet once a week, but will assign homework runs. The group starts from scratch and invites members to investigate training techniques such as hill repeats and interval training. A number of optional races (5k and 10k) will be advertised to the group for motivation and training within the 6 months.
Half and Full Marathon Training — Coach Caro Linn
Already running? Looking to improve, give your running a boost, or challenge yourself? Join the Run for Life Marathon and Half Marathon Training Group! Keep running a part of your life with training variety and new running buddies. Includes three group runs: Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. Initially the runs establish base running fitness, but evolve into training runs based on personal ability and goals. Description: The Northern Minnesota Track Club puts on two trail race series - one in the spring, and one in the fall. The races are hilly, challenging, and run on some of the Duluth area's most scenic trails. Runners of all skill levels participate, and it is a great way to meet fellow runners. The cost for each race is $1. The race schedule is decided in late March and can be found at the Duluth Running Co and Austin-Jarrow shoe store.
