Pine Valley - Lost Forester Run
Distance:8 miles
Time:8:30 AM
Course:

The Lost Forester run is designed to be hard. It is an 8-ish mile trail and off-trail race up and down the steepest hills in Pine Valley, through swamps, in creeks, and through dense brush.

The route is an undetermined distance of an off-trail and trail ribbon line of flagging like that used by foresters.  Runners will be self-supporting the whole distance.  They will have to carry their own water, and gels.  A compass is required for all participants. There is a 5 minute bonus for wearing plaid flannel. Long sleeve shirts, pants, and sturdy shoes are highly recommended.

The Lost Forester is limited to the most hardy 25 runners.

See the registration page for detailed rules.
